How a Pandemic Changed Insurance as We Know It

In today’s economy, we are left with many uncertainties with our jobs, how to pay our bills, and, most importantly, how to keep our insurance when we need it most.

Many have encountered situations such as being forced onto a Cobra plan (temporary insurance) after being dismissed from the workforce to be left with little to no money. Worst of all, they are paying more than they can afford during a critical time with a deadly virus striking our nation.

Another situation we see many facing is being completely dropped from their insurance altogether with no option of a Cobra transition plan to see them through to the next employment opportunity. Due to the potential for high out-of-pocket costs, this is leaving them distraught with the thought of potentially catching this virus or needing to seek basic medical care.

The pandemic has left a lot of us wondering how we might handle these situations. Some of us have been so awestruck that we never want to be put in this situation again and have even started our own businesses to ensure the security of our loved ones from another economic disaster.

There are much more affordable options out there that can help someone during these difficult situations. Most are not aware that these private insurance options even exist.

If you are in need of help during this critical time and need a licensed insurance advisor’s guidance, please call or email me for a free consultation and quote.
