Insurance Isn’t a One-Plan-Fit-All

In my experience advising clients about their insurance, there isn’t just one plan that fits everyone's health care needs.

Each individual and family is unique and has their own genetic make up and healthcare needs. In today’s world of insurance, I look at each person’s individual situation and guide them to pick a health insurance plan that will cater to their specific needs - considering both finances and coverage.

For example, those with a high blood pressure condition or being treated for diabetes may need to see the doctor every 3 months. Others may just go in for an annual physical.

Another example would be a plan for just maternity benefits. The amount of doctor visits and additional healthcare attention that will be needed over 9 months certainly may not be the client’s needs after pregnancy. So, why is it that we stay with our high-deductible plan that doesn’t even address those needs?

So many people are paying for doctor visits out-of-pocket without even reaching their deductibles.

It's simple. Most don’t know that there are other plans designed especially during a time we will need more coverage. But guess what? You can change plans even if your health care needs change - and it doesn’t have to be during “open enrollment”.

If you find yourself in this situation, feel free to contact me for advice so we can find the insurance plan that is customized to your needs.
